Jetty is a big, deep holding pool, with a stiff climb from downstream and a shallow neck to exit. From the Aboyne Water side it is best fished in lowish water as the deep flow hugs the left bank. In dropping water after a rise, a cast in the tail-end is also a must, as running fish will rest from their excursions in the long rapids below. We know this pool holds fish as it’s one of the local Osprey’s favourites!
