The Old Hut is a rocky fast run between the neck of Lummels and the Lower Irrigation pool upstream. The pots and holes in the Old Hut offer resting places for fish as they climb between the classic holding pools. A quick snatch of the fly can happen in the most unlikely spots! This is home to Aboyne’s elusive big brown trout too!
